Andrea Elrod is an experienced dance teacher with a passion for sharing her love of dance with students. With 13 years of competitive dance under her belt, Andrea has trained in a variety of dance styles, including jazz, contemporary, hip hop, lyrical, tumbling, and ballet. She values her special role of seeing dancers develop new skills and create lifelong bonds with their teammates.
After high school, Andrea went on to become a member of the prestigious and nationally ranked University of Tennessee Dance Team, where she performed at football games, basketball games, and other university events. While dancing for the University of Tennessee her team consistently placed in the top 3 in the nation at UDA College Nationals. During Andrea’s four years on the team, she developed her teaching skills by leading dance clinics for younger dancers and teaching at a local dance studio.
Andrea’s talent and hard work lead her to opportunities to dance in several high-profile commercials. She appeared in the NFL Monday Night Football commercial with Hank Williams Jr. and danced for the ESPN College GameDay Introduction Commercial with country stars Big and Rich.
After graduating from college, Andrea decided to pursue her passion for teaching dance full-time. She has been choreographing and teaching dance for 12 years and has built a reputation for creating a supportive, inspiring, and fun learning environment for her students. She believes that dance is a gift and strives to help each of her students develop their skills and confidence on and off the dance floor. Andrea is excited to continue sharing her love of dance with her students and help them achieve their own dance goals.
