Jennifer grew up in Brentwood, TN and began dancing at the age of 3. She has trained in ballet, jazz, hip hop, pom and tumbling. During her training, she competed with an all star program placing in the top 3 at NDA Nationals and was a member and captain for the top ranked Brentwood High School dance team. She also earned NDA and UDA All-American honors.
After high school, she began teaching dance and gymnastics while continuing to compete. In 2007, she danced at the inaugural Dance Worlds and throughout 4 years of dancing on the Worlds stage earned a top 3 placement. She has also trained in NYC under choreographers for the musicals 9 to 5, Bring It On and In The Heights.
After college, Jennifer earned her Masters in Education degree from Belmont University and spent time as an elementary school teacher. Since 2020, she has been the Independence High School dance coach, leading them to a top 5 placement at Nationals this year. She also holds certifications to teach fitness classes such as barre, HIIT and strength. Along, with 18 years of teaching dance and tumbling to kids of all ages, she has also been able to share her expertise in the industry by presenting to over 100 general education teachers about the importance of music and movement.
